The final conference of our research project Deradicalizing the City: Does security have a future?  Speculation and belonging in the age of catastrophes will be held at the LUCA School of Art from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2025. 

The conference is conceived as a dialogue on how security has become one of the primary signifiers of our times and what a speculative exploration of alternative forms belonging and future-making might look like. The program of the event is organized around three thematic clusters: (1) Governance and security policies; (2) (Alternative forms of) future making; (3) Speculation and artistic methodologies.
